Women's Week in P Town

Here's the Bywater P-Town schedule for Womens's Week. We are looking forward to a great week of promotion and fun, so come join us!

2-4pm: Bywater authors signing at Womencrafts Bookstore. Marianne K. Martin, Cynn Chadwick, Mari San Giovanni, Z Egloff, and Marcia Finical, and myself.

6-8pm: A Night of Wine and Cheese with Bywater authors at Womencrafts

Friday, Oct 16

11-1: Master Writers Workshop with Cynn Chadwick at the Level. Chadwick is a lecturer at University of North Carolina-Asheville. She has both an M.A. in literature and an MFA in fiction, and teaches both undergrad and graduate courses in writing.

March 8, 2009: I'll be doing a phone-in interview session with the women's book group from Outland Books in Nashville. They are reading Miss McGhee and I'll answer any questions they have.

Local event

Feb 15, 2009: Authors Ruth Perkinson, KG MacGregor, and Lee Lynch will be at Java Nirvana in Gulfport, Florida, from 10 am till 2 pm, for readings, book signing, and conversation. I'll be there too, in the audience. These are some of my favorite authors, and if you live anywhere close, please come. I've been told Java Nirvana is a great venue, and you'll get to see three great authors.

GCLS conference

The GCLS conference, July 31-August 3, 2008, at the Sheraton Wildhorse Pass resort in Phoenix, AZ. I don't know yet whether I'll attend, but Katherine V. Forrest will be the keynote speaker, so if it is at all possible, I will be there.

St Pete Gay Pride Festival

Saturday, June 30, 2007: I'll have a vendor's booth at the St. Petersburg Gay Pride Festival. Miss McGhee will be on sale, and there will be free stuff, so come by and see me. 11 am till 4 pm.

May 10, 2007: My first novel, Miss McGhee, hits bookstores! I am excited and very nervous.

May 10-12, 2007: The Saints and Sinners Literary conference in New Orleans. I'll be there, doing my first reading, and sitting on a panel during the conference. Also attending: Nancy Garden, Ellen Hart, Greg Herren, Jewel Gomez, Marianne K. Martin, J M Redmann, and many others.
